Private Boat cruises and exclusive tours of Vulcano

The island of Vulcano is the furthest south of the Aeolian archipelago. Lipari is just 1 nautical mile to the north. On the Sicilian mainland the closest towns are Portorosa (15 nm to the south) and Milazzo (16 nm to the southeast).

The Island of Vulcano is the source of the word "volcano" in English. This island has numerous features of secondary volcanism. It is a green island with clear water and bubbling springs, mud baths, black sand, and health spas. Archeological ruins have not been found on this island, and the historical documents on Vulcano tell stories of a violent and explosive volcano.
