The island of Favignana lies 9 nautical miles northwest of Marsala, and 9nm southeast of Trapani. The island of Levanzo is just 3 nm to the north, and Marettimo 9 nm to the west.
Favignana is a unique Aegadian island to visit by private day boat charter. The island's terrain ranges from a large flat plain on the east side, to a mountain range that cuts across the center and slopes into the ocean on the west side.
